A restaurant POS for London, with the service charge where it belongs
Brindola is a restaurant POS for London venues that keeps a 12.5 % service charge and card tips out of your takings, works alongside the card terminal you already rent with no fee of its own, and keeps the whole service running on the venue's own hardware when the broadband goes down.
Service charge, tips, card fees and a broadband line that picks Friday night to fail: Brindola is built for how a London restaurant trades.
Service charge and tips on the same bill
An optional service charge is its own line on the bill under the name you give it, struck off when a guest asks. A card tip is recorded on the payment, never inside the sale. Both are reported on their own, per member of staff and per day.
Keep the card machine you already rent, from whichever provider gives you the best rate. Brindola takes no card fee and puts no markup on anyone's rate.
The terminals, the kitchen screens and printers, phones on your Wi-Fi, payments and the cash-up all run on your own network. Pull the cable at seven on a Friday and nothing on the floor changes.
The Z reading at close gives takings by payment method, refunds, cash tips and grand totals nothing rewrites, and every receipt keeps its VAT by rate. There is no direct link into Xero or QuickBooks today.
Nothing in the UK certifies a terminal or requires a device under the counter. Every sale, refund and void is kept as its own entry, for the six years VAT record-keeping expects.
One price per venue in pounds, VAT added at checkout, with no share of your sales and no hardware bundle: it runs on a Windows or Linux computer you already own.
Deliveroo and Uber Eats are both coming soon. Their orders will arrive as ordinary orders on the kitchen screen, beside the dining room's, and be counted in the day's close without re-typing.
