Brindola is a POS with Bolt Food built in: orders arrive on the terminal and the kitchen screen, are accepted with a prep time in one tap, and land in the day's close. Your menu, photos, prices, opening hours and sold-out items go out to Bolt Food from the same terminal, for restaurants and for Bolt stores alike.
Feature by feature, for a restaurant listing and for a Bolt store. The same list stands beside every other platform on the delivery page, in the same words.

A Bolt Food order, start to finish
No tablet on the counter and nothing typed twice. The order Bolt Food sends is the order the kitchen cooks and the order the close counts.
The order arrives
Bolt Food sends the order to our order bridge, which drops it into the inbox on the terminal and onto the kitchen screen with Bolt's order number, the items, their options and the customer's note. A discounted line shows its original price struck through.
Accept with a prep time
One tap accepts the order and tells Bolt Food when it will be ready; one tap rejects it with one of Bolt's reasons and a note. The window you set for Bolt Food counts down on screen, because a missed order makes Bolt Food close your store, and the terminal says so before it happens.
Cook, bump, hand over
The kitchen works the ticket like any other. The courier's name and arrival are on the order, and on a pickup order “Customer collected” tells Bolt Food the bag has left the counter.
It is in the close
The order is booked to Bolt Food as its own channel and tender, so the day's report shows Bolt Food revenue beside the room and the takeaway, by brand, without a spreadsheet.
What is particular to Bolt Food
Pre-orders held until it is time
A scheduled Bolt Food order is accepted when the guest places it and waits in a Scheduled lane on the kitchen screen until its prep time comes round, so it is neither cooked early nor forgotten.
Your menu, published from the terminal
Categories, dishes, options and extras, photos, labels such as vegan or spicy, packaging fees and opening hours go to Bolt Food in one publish. A menu already on Bolt Food can be pulled in and matched to your catalog instead.
In more than one language
Names and descriptions go out in every language your catalog is written in that Bolt Food carries, so a guest reads the dish in theirs.
Sold out, or closed, in one tap
Mark a dish sold out, or pause the whole listing, from the terminal and the app follows. Reopening is the same tap, when the kitchen is ready.
A price check on every order
Every order is taken exactly as Bolt Food sent it. When a price on it differs from the one you published, the order card says so and the difference is recorded, so it is found the same day and not at the month's end.
Bolt stores, picked with a scanner
For a Bolt store, the assortment, price list and stock are published from the terminal. Orders arrive as pick lists: scan or tap each item, report what is missing, and Bolt refunds the guest while your close matches the bag.
Where Brindola connects to Bolt Food
Bolt Food orders come through our order bridge in each of these regions, and each region's page is written for it, in its own language.
No. Once your Bolt Food listing is connected, its orders arrive on the terminal and the kitchen screen and are accepted from there, and the menu is kept from there too. The tablet can go back in its box.
What happens if a Bolt Food order is not accepted in time?
Bolt Food cancels it and closes your store until someone reopens it. The terminal counts down the window you set for Bolt Food on the inbox and the kitchen screen, warns before it runs out, and says afterwards that the store was closed. Reopening stays a person's decision, as Bolt Food requires.
I already have a menu on Bolt Food. Do I start again?
No. Brindola pulls in the menu you have and matches its dishes to your catalog, so orders arrive against your own products from the first day. You can go on editing the menu where you edit it today, or publish it from the terminal when you are ready.
What do Bolt Food photos need?
At least 1200 pixels on each side. Bolt Food keeps its own copy of each photo, and the terminal names any photo Bolt Food has not taken, so a dish never goes out with a blank square by surprise.
Does it work for a Bolt store, not only a restaurant?
Yes. A Bolt store gets its assortment, price list and stock from the terminal, and its orders are picked item by item with a barcode scanner. Weighed goods with adjusted basket totals are in the works and switch on once Bolt enables them for your store.
How is the Bolt Food integration charged?
As part of delivery intake, a metered add-on on top of any plan, counted per order your terminal accepts or per active venue, as your region's pricing shows. A rejected order is never counted, and there is no share of your Bolt Food revenue.
