A restaurant POS for Valletta, from the terrace to the pass
Brindola is a restaurant POS for Valletta venues that puts Bolt Food orders on the kitchen screen (Wolt is coming soon), splits a terrace's bill as many ways as the table wants, routes every ticket to its station's screen or printer, and keeps the whole service running on the venue's own hardware when the line drops.
What a Valletta restaurant asks of a POS, answered
A full terrace, a busy pass, delivery riders at the door and a summer team learning on the job: Brindola is built for a Valletta service.
Bolt Food in the same queue, Wolt coming soon
Bolt Food orders arrive as ordinary tickets: accepted with a prep time, on the kitchen screen beside the next table's, and counted in the day's close. Wolt is coming soon.
Draw the terrace as a zone of its own on the floor plan and split its bill by seat, by item or by amount, each part with its own receipt and its own tip.
The grill, the cold section and the bar each get only their own tickets, on a kitchen screen with timers, a printer on the pass, or both. A ticket sent from a tablet on the terrace still prints in the kitchen.
The amount is keyed into your terminal and the payment recorded on the order. Two terminals are two payment options, kept apart in the reports and together in the close.
The terminals, the kitchen screens and printers, phones and tablets on your Wi-Fi, payments and the close all run on your own network. The service does not depend on the internet, or on us, to keep going.
Bolt Food orders arrive on the kitchen screen like any other ticket: accepted with a prep time, cancellations caught, and counted in the day's close without a second count. Wolt is coming soon.
Six things to test before choosing a POS in Valletta
