A burger in a brown cardboard takeaway box on a wooden counter

POS for takeaways and quick-service counters

The takeaway POS for a counter that serves fast, cooks in order and hands over by number

Brindola is a POS for takeaways, quick-service counters and fast-food shops that takes an order in seconds, sends it to the kitchen screen, shows its number on a board when it is ready and takes the walk-in, phone and platform queues on one screen. Nothing at the counter depends on the internet.

What a takeaway needs from its terminal

Combos and modifiers in one tap

A meal is a set with its options; large, no onions, extra sauce move the price as you tap. A new cashier is fast on the first shift.

A kitchen that cooks in the order paid

Tickets land on the kitchen screen in sequence with their number. Bump when bagged and the number moves to the board facing the shop.

Walk-in, phone and platform on one queue

Platform orders arrive through our order bridge beside the counter orders, with their prep time accepted in one tap. The kitchen sees one queue.

A bag slip that says whose bag it is

The slip prints when the order is bumped, with the number, the items and the platform reference where there is one. Nothing is handed to the wrong courier.

Fast card, fast cash, shift by shift

Contactless at the counter, cash rounded the way your country rounds it, X at the shift change and Z at close, per drawer.

The counter does not stop for the router

The terminal, the kitchen screen and the board are on your own network. The dinner queue does not know the line is down; platform orders catch up when it is back.

Κύπρος

Takeaways in Cyprus

The neighbourhood grill house takes half its trade by phone and platform, and all of it has to land in one grilling order.

A dinner rush, through Brindola

One counter terminal, a kitchen screen, a board over the pickup shelf and two delivery platforms.

  1. The counter takes six orders in four minutes

Each is a combo with a change or two, a number issued, a card tapped. The kitchen screen shows them in the order they were paid.

  2. Platform orders join the queue

Three arrive through the bridge with their prep times; they land on the same screen, numbered in sequence, tagged with the platform.

  3. The kitchen bumps in order

Bagged, bumped, number on the board. The slip prints with the number and, for the platform orders, the reference the courier reads off their phone.

  4. A phone order for eight

Typed at the terminal against a name, with the collection time in the note, paid on collection. It is held and fired to the kitchen when the time comes.

  5. The close

Revenue by channel (counter, phone, each platform), the item mix, the kitchen time per order in percentiles. The drawer counted, the detail on the main device in the shop.

Which plan fits a takeaway

Plus with the delivery add-on for a counter with a kitchen screen, a board and platform orders. A single-terminal counter with a printer in the kitchen runs on Essentials.

Questions takeaways ask

Do I need a floor plan?

No. Counter service is a setting: the floor plan is off, orders carry a number, and the board shows the numbers as they are ready.

Can the board be seen from the street?

The pickup board is a screen you place where you want it: over the shelf, in the window, or both. It shows numbers only, never names or items.

Does it take phone orders for later?

An order carries a name and a note, paid on collection or when taken. Platform pre-orders arrive with their time and are held until it; local orders that fire themselves at a set time are on the way.

What about a self-service kiosk?

Yes. At the kiosk the guest builds the order from your catalog, with photos and allergens, taps Confirm and gets a number; they pay at the counter by that number, and the kitchen screen and the board take it like any counter order. Paying by card at the kiosk itself is planned.

Other kinds of venue

POS for dark kitchens and virtual brands

Dark kitchens

Brindola is a POS for dark kitchens, cloud kitchens and virtual brands that runs several brands out of one kitchen, with separate menus and one kitchen screen. Orders for every brand from Bolt Food and Glovo land on that screen as ordinary tickets, brand by brand, with no platform tablets; Wolt is coming soon. It reports revenue by brand and by channel, and nothing depends on the internet except the orders arriving.

POS for coffee shops and cafés

Coffee shops

Brindola is a POS for coffee shops and cafés that takes the morning rush at the counter: drinks with their sizes and milks, the pastry case, a name or a number for pickup. It runs on a terminal that keeps working when the internet does not.

POS for restaurants

Restaurants

Brindola is a restaurant POS that runs a full table-service operation on the venue's own hardware and network: every terminal, the floor plan, the kitchen screens, the payments and the close. A dead line changes nothing on the floor.
