A restaurant POS for Limassol, in Greek and in English
Brindola is a restaurant POS for Limassol venues that prints the VAT per rate on one bill, works alongside your JCC or bank terminal, puts Bolt Food orders on the kitchen screen (Wolt is coming soon), speaks Greek to the staff and English to the guest, and keeps trading when the line drops.
What a Limassol restaurant asks of a POS, answered
Two VAT rates, a table paying on five cards, Greek in the kitchen and English at the table: Brindola handles a Limassol service end to end.
Two VAT rates on one bill
The reduced restaurant rate and the standard rate are stamped onto each line at order time and printed per rate. A company's bill carries its name and VAT number, on the roll or on A4.
The amount is keyed into the terminal and the payment recorded on the order; two terminals are two payment options, kept apart in the reports. A bill splits across as many cards as the table wants.
The terminals, the kitchen screens and printers, phones on your Wi-Fi, payments and the day's close all run on your own network, so nothing on the floor changes.
The whole application is in Greek, and the receipt's language is set separately. A printer without Greek characters prints the Greek in Latin letters rather than question marks.
Bolt Food orders arrive on the kitchen screen beside the next table's ticket: accepted with a prep time and counted in the day's close without re-typing. Wolt is coming soon.
