Brindola vs Sally POS
Sally POS or Brindola for a restaurant in Cyprus
Sally POS is a cloud point of sale for restaurants, cafés and bars, made in Limassol, running on iPads and Android devices, with Wolt, Bolt and Foody orders and integrated card terminals. Brindola runs the whole service on a device in your venue, keeps going with the internet down, and publishes its price in euro.
In short
- Brindola keeps orders, kitchen screens, payments and the close running however long the line is down.
- Your tickets and guests stay in a file in your own building, not in a vendor's cloud.
- Brindola's price is published, €49 or €99 a month per venue; Sally publishes no price.
- Each line carries its VAT rate, broken out per rate on the receipt.
- Sally is ahead on integrated card terminals, Foody, guest QR ordering, Xero and local references.

Why venues choose Brindola over Sally POS
Offline is how it works, not a mode
Sally keeps taking orders offline and syncs when the line returns. Brindola has nothing to sync back to: one device in your venue serves every terminal, kitchen screen and printer over your own network, so the reports and the close keep working too.

Several brands from one kitchen
Separate brand tabs and catalogs, revenue by brand and channel, and one order that can carry two brands.

Your tickets stay in your venue
Tickets, guests, payments and margins live in one file on hardware you own. Only the day's totals leave, and only to a backoffice you connect.
A price you can read before the demo
Essentials is €49 and Plus €99 a month per venue, charged in euro, with no share of your sales. The trial needs no card and no call.
VAT per rate on the bill
The reduced restaurant rate and the standard rate sit on the same bill, each line stamped with its rate when it is ordered. A bill in a company's name carries its VAT number, on the roll or on A4.
Greek for the staff, English for the guest
The application is in Greek, and the receipt language is set on its own, so a waiter works in Greek while the tourist's bill comes out in English.

What Sally POS has that Brindola doesn't
- Limassol venues to visit
- Sally names venues in Limassol that run it and says 300+ venues are live in Cyprus, South Africa and Australia. Brindola has none to point to yet.
- Card terminals that close the check
- JCC Mellon and Viva are integrated, so the check closes when the card clears. Brindola works alongside the terminal.
- Foody, as well as Wolt and Bolt
- Sally takes orders from all three and pushes the menu back out. Brindola has Bolt Food, with Wolt coming soon.
- QR and online ordering
- Guests browse, order and pay from their own phones.
- Tabs on account and Xero
- Regulars and companies run a tab and settle it later, with a debtors report, and sales and purchases sync to Xero.
- An open API, web extensions and hotel rooms
- An open API for menus, orders, customers and stock, your own web app inside the POS, and orders charged to a hotel room through RoomRaccoon.
- iPads, and no startup cost
- Sally runs on iPads as well as Android, with no initial fees. Brindola's phone and tablet app is on Android.
