Brindola vs Poster POS

Poster POS or Brindola for your restaurant

Poster POS is a cloud point-of-sale system for cafés, restaurants and small shops that runs on iPad, Android, Windows and Mac, from $26 a month billed annually, and by its own count is used in 27 000 locations. Brindola runs the whole venue on a device you own, is priced per venue rather than per register, and keeps every screen working with the internet down.

In short

  • With the internet down, every Brindola terminal and kitchen screen keeps sharing the same orders; on Poster, a register keeps its new orders to itself until the servers return.
  • Brindola is one price per venue; Poster adds a fee for each extra register, kitchen screen, waiter phone and connected location.
  • Your tickets, guests and payments stay on a device in your venue; Poster keeps them on its servers.
  • Poster is ahead on food cost, loyalty and the QR menu, runs on an iPad, and is cheap to start with one tablet.

Why venues choose Brindola over Poster POS

The whole service runs without the internet

Terminals, kitchen screens, payments, the day's close and every report run on a device in your venue, over your own network. When the line drops, every screen still sees the same bill, for as long as the outage lasts.

Several brands from one kitchen

Each brand gets its own tab and catalog, one order can carry two brands, and revenue is reported by brand and by channel. On Poster, several concepts means several accounts.

One price for the venue

On Plus, up to eight devices are part of the price: terminals, kitchen screens, guest displays, waiter phones, a kiosk. No fee per screen and no share of what you sell.

Waiter phones and a kiosk included

Android phones and tablets join as an order screen at the table, a kitchen screen, a guest display or a self-service kiosk, with no extra licence.

Your data stays in your building

Tickets, guests, tenders and margins live in one file on hardware you own. Only the day's totals leave, and only to a backoffice you connect.

Delivery orders on the kitchen screen

Bolt Food and Glovo orders land beside the dining room's and close with the day, with nobody re-typing them. Wolt, Deliveroo and Uber Eats are coming soon.
