A restaurant POS for Tallinn, with Bolt Food on the kitchen screen
Brindola is a restaurant POS for Tallinn venues that puts Bolt Food orders straight onto the kitchen screen (Wolt is coming soon), works alongside your Swedbank, SEB or LHV terminal, prints VAT per rate, and keeps selling on the venue's own hardware when the internet goes down.
Delivery orders in the kitchen queue, the bank's terminal at the table, VAT by rate and the cash rounded to five cents: Brindola covers how a Tallinn restaurant trades.
Bolt Food into the kitchen, Wolt coming soon
Bolt Food orders arrive as ordinary orders: on the kitchen screen beside the next table's ticket, accepted with a prep time, cancellations caught, and counted in the day's close without re-typing. Wolt is coming soon.
The amount is keyed into the terminal and the payment recorded on the order; each terminal is its own payment option and the reports keep them apart. A cash total rounds to five cents, a card payment never does.
VAT is stamped onto each line at order time and printed per rate. The business table's bill carries its company name, registry code and EE VAT number, on the roll or on A4, and a receipt can go by e-mail.
The terminals, the kitchen screens and printers, phones and tablets on your Wi-Fi, payments and the close all run on your own network. Only the delivery platforms wait for the line to come back.
The day's close gives takings by payment method and VAT by rate, and the day's totals go to the backoffice you connect. There is no direct export to an Estonian accounting package today.
Bolt Food orders reach the kitchen screen with a prep time and are counted in the day's close without re-typing. Wolt, Estonia's other platform, is coming soon.
