All plans

Use this guide for a venue operating in Estonia. Complete the shared first-run setup, then review the local decisions below.

Foundation Review in Settings → Identity
Country Estonia
Local currency EUR; confirm the venue’s actual selling currency
Time zone Europe/Tallinn
Working language the language your staff use; language does not choose tax rules

Check the catalog against the current Estonian Tax and Customs Board guidance before opening or changing prices. Estonia has had recent rate changes; copying an older menu or screenshot can reproduce an outdated rate. EMTA VAT rates.

Keep the product’s tax category separate from the operator’s language. Review a representative item from each category and check the receipt breakdown. Historical orders retain their recorded values when the current catalog is updated.

Record the company’s legal name and identifier before issuing its document. Format checking is not a live confirmation of registration. EMTA’s invoice guidance covers required particulars and cases with additional wording. EMTA VAT accounting and invoices.

Check that the person doing the accounting receives the intended date range and tax breakdown. A backoffice aggregate and the detailed orders stored on the terminal are different records; configure backups for the latter.

Configure the terminal used by the venue and distinguish manual card recording from an integrated approval. Match the close to the terminal’s settlement scope.

The regional offering lists Bolt Food through the order intake add-on, with Wolt coming soon. Map products and stock units for the account being connected, then check an accepted order through preparation and handover. Inspect stock publication responses separately from menu publication.

Print Estonian characters on the actual printer, verify the current tax setup and run a sale through close. Check daylight-saving behaviour through the venue’s named time zone rather than setting a fixed hour offset.

Continue with the opening checklist and register close.
