Pour-over kettles, a grinder and cups on the back counter of a small coffee shop

POS for coffee shops and cafés

The coffee shop POS that keeps pouring when the Wi-Fi does not

Brindola is a POS for coffee shops and cafés that takes the morning rush at the counter: drinks with their sizes and milks, the pastry case, a name or a number for pickup. It runs on a terminal that keeps working when the internet does not.

What a coffee shop needs from its terminal

A drink in three taps

Size, milk, extra shot, oat instead of dairy, and the price moves with each choice. Modifier groups are set up once and every barista sees the same sheet.

A bar screen or a pickup board

Drinks land on a screen behind the machine in the order they were paid for. A board facing the room shows order numbers as they are ready, so nobody shouts names over the grinder. Add a self-service kiosk and guests tap in their own order, then pay at the counter by its number.

The pastry case, counted

Croissants come in a box of twenty and sell one at a time; the count follows. A zero count warns the cashier and never blocks a sale.

Fast card, fast cash, tips that add up

Contactless at the counter, tips taken at payment, and the register knows what the drawer should hold at the end of the shift.

Delivery apps on the same screen

Orders from delivery platforms arrive through our order bridge and join the same queue as the counter, with a prep time accepted in one tap.

The rush does not wait for the router

The line drops at eight in the morning and nothing changes at the counter. Cards, receipts and the queue keep going on your own network.

Cafés in Georgia

A Vake coffee bar with a lachi counter and a Batumi café on the boulevard both sell a cappuccino and a khachapuri the same way: fast, in lari, on a receipt in Georgian.

A Tuesday morning, through Brindola

One counter terminal, a screen behind the espresso machine and a pickup board on the wall. Counter service, no tables to seat.

  1. The queue starts at seven

Flat white, large, oat. Three taps, a name typed or a number issued, card tapped. The ticket is on the bar screen before the customer has put the card away.

  2. The bar works in order

The barista sees the drinks in the order they were paid for, with the milk and the size on the ticket. Bumping the drink moves its number to the pickup board.

  3. The pastries sell down

Each almond croissant sold takes one from the tray count. When the tray is empty the terminal says so; it still lets the cashier ring one up if there is one left on the plate.

  4. The internet goes at nine

The café's own network keeps the terminal, the bar screen and the board talking. Card payments continue on the terminal; delivery orders that arrive while the line is down are taken when it is back.

  5. The shift ends

An X report mid-morning to check the drawer, a Z at close, tips split per the roster, and the day's numbers on the report screen: which drinks sold, at which hour, at what margin.

Which plan fits a coffee shop

Essentials for one terminal and one counter. It carries the catalog with modifiers, the register, receipts, payments and the close, entirely offline. Add Plus when you want a bar screen, a pickup board or a second terminal, or a second site.

Questions coffee shops ask

I have one terminal and good internet. Do I need this?

Probably not, and we say so on the front page. Brindola earns its keep the day you add a screen, a second terminal, a delivery channel or a second site, or the day your line goes down during the rush.

What does the guest display show?

The order as it is built and the total, in the language you choose for guests. Tips are taken at the terminal at payment; a tip prompt on the display itself is not there today.

Do I need tables and a floor plan?

No. Counter service is a setting: the floor plan is off, orders carry a name or a number instead of a table, and the pickup board shows the numbers as they are ready.

Does it handle loyalty stamps?

Guests and their history are in the product; a stamp-card loyalty scheme is not something we sell today, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Other kinds of venue

POS for restaurants

Restaurants

Brindola is a restaurant POS that runs a full table-service operation on the venue's own hardware and network: every terminal, the floor plan, the kitchen screens, the payments and the close. A dead line changes nothing on the floor.

POS for bars and pubs

Bars and pubs

Brindola is a POS for bars and pubs that keeps open tabs, pours by the round, splits the bill at two in the morning and still books it to the right trading day. It runs on hardware behind your own bar and does not depend on the internet.

POS for dark kitchens and virtual brands

Dark kitchens

Brindola is a POS for dark kitchens, cloud kitchens and virtual brands that runs several brands out of one kitchen, with separate menus and one kitchen screen. Orders for every brand from Bolt Food and Glovo land on that screen as ordinary tickets, brand by brand, with no platform tablets; Wolt is coming soon. It reports revenue by brand and by channel, and nothing depends on the internet except the orders arriving.

For your venue

Try it on tomorrow's rush

Fourteen days of the full Plus plan, installed on your own counter machine, with your own drinks menu. If it does not make the morning faster, delete it.
