POS for restaurants

The restaurant POS that runs the whole floor, with or without the internet

Brindola is a restaurant POS that runs a full table-service operation on the venue's own hardware and network: every terminal, the floor plan, the kitchen screens, the payments and the close. A dead line changes nothing on the floor.

What a restaurant needs from its terminal

A floor plan that matches the room

Zones, real table shapes, seats that fill as guests sit down. Move a party to another table in one tap and the open bill goes with them.

Courses, modifiers and shared tables

Starters fire before mains, a steak carries its temperature and its side, and two parties at one long table keep two bills.

A kitchen that sees the ticket once

Items route to grill, cold and pastry by station; the pass screen shows every station at once; an age timer turns red before the guest asks.

Split bills without an argument

By seat, by item or by amount; tips, cover charges and card fees in the same flow; the change counted for the server.

Reports a chef and an owner both read

Dish analysis, staff and tips, kitchen times in percentiles rather than averages, and the days you were closed left as gaps in the chart.

A service that never stops for the router

The internet leaves the building and the terminals, kitchen screens and payments keep going, indefinitely. It comes back and nothing catches up wrong.

Restaurants in Georgia

A khinkali house turns tables three times on a Saturday, a dukani runs a supra for thirty on one bill, and every company lunch wants its invoice. Brindola is built for that room.

RS.ge invoices for the company supra

A company invoice for a corporate supra goes out through the RS.ge lane: look the company up by its identification code and the invoice is issued straight from the order's lines. A correction is a new document, the way the Revenue Service expects.

Thirty at one table, one bill

A supra is one party across pushed-together tables. The plan keeps them as one bill until the toastmaster calls the last toast, and splits it by amount if the guests insist.

Bolt Food and Glovo on the kitchen screen, Wolt soon

Bolt Food, Wolt and Glovo are the three platforms Georgian restaurants use. Bolt Food and Glovo orders arrive through the order bridge as ordinary tickets beside the dining room's; Wolt is coming soon over the same bridge.

One Saturday evening, through Brindola

A forty-cover restaurant with two terminals, one kitchen screen and a pass. This is what the software does while the floor does its job.

  1. The room fills

The host seats a party of six on the plan; the table shows six seats taken. The server opens the bill from the table, takes drinks first, and the bar station gets its own ticket.

  2. The order goes in once

Starters and mains are entered in courses with their modifiers. The kitchen screen shows course one; course two waits until the server fires it. Nobody re-types anything at a printer.

  3. The kitchen works the ticket

Grill and cold each see their own items; the pass screen sees both and bumps the course when it is plated. A cook who is out of the sea bass taps the bell and the floor is told before the guest is.

  4. The line drops at nine

The router dies. Nothing on the floor notices: orders, tickets and payments continue on the venue's own network. The platform orders that arrive later queue and land when the line is back.

  5. The bill splits three ways

Two cards and cash, one of them with a tip. The receipt prints, the table clears on the plan, and the register knows what should be in the drawer.

  6. The close

Z report, over-and-short counted, the aggregate close sent to the backoffice if there is one. The full detail stays on the main device in the building, in a file you can back up.

Which plan fits a restaurant

Plus. A table-service restaurant runs a floor plan, at least one kitchen screen and more than one terminal, and those are what Plus adds to Essentials. A group running several sites with its own backoffice is Enterprise.

Questions restaurants ask

Does it need a tablet per server?

No. Servers take orders at the terminal, at a terminal on the floor, or at the table on a phone with the Brindola app, which sends the order to the kitchen and calls the bill at the counter.

Can two servers work the same table?

Yes. A bill belongs to the table, not to a device, so any terminal can add to it, and every terminal sees the same bill the moment it changes.

What happens to a table open past midnight?

It stays on the business day it opened on. The trading day rolls over at the hour you set, so a bill closed at one in the morning is Saturday's revenue.

Does the kitchen need a screen, or will printers do?

Either, or both. Stations can print tickets, show them on a screen, or do both, and you can change that per station without touching the menu.

POS for bars and pubs

Bars and pubs

Brindola is a POS for bars and pubs that keeps open tabs, pours by the round, splits the bill at two in the morning and still books it to the right trading day. It runs on hardware behind your own bar and does not depend on the internet.

POS for coffee shops and cafés

Coffee shops

Brindola is a POS for coffee shops and cafés that takes the morning rush at the counter: drinks with their sizes and milks, the pastry case, a name or a number for pickup. It runs on a terminal that keeps working when the internet does not.

POS for dark kitchens and virtual brands

Dark kitchens

Brindola is a POS for dark kitchens, cloud kitchens and virtual brands that runs several brands out of one kitchen, with separate menus and one kitchen screen. Orders for every brand from Bolt Food and Glovo land on that screen as ordinary tickets, brand by brand, with no platform tablets; Wolt is coming soon. It reports revenue by brand and by channel, and nothing depends on the internet except the orders arriving.
