1. What the software stores, and where
Orders, tickets, guest records, payments and reports live on the main device in your venue. We have no copy and no access. You are the controller of that data; we are not a processor of it, because it never reaches us.
2. What leaves your venue
The aggregate daily close, and only to a backoffice you connected yourself. Delivery-platform orders arrive from the platform you signed up with. The only other thing the main device sends is the usage report described in section 3, and you can switch that off.
3. The usage report
Once a day the main device sends us a short report: the software version, the country, time zone, currency and language you chose, which optional features are on, how many screens are paired, the size of your product list and staff list in broad ranges, the kind of receipt printer, and the install code that identifies your licence. It never contains your venue's name or address, a person's name or PIN, an order, a price, an amount of money, a product, a password or a hardware identifier. We read the country from the connection and do not keep the address it came from. The report is on by default; turn it off in Settings → About, and off means nothing is sent.
4. The phone and tablet app
The Brindola app for Android is a screen for your venue: it connects to your own main device over your local network and shows or takes orders for it. It sends nothing to us. It stores on the device what your main device gives it (your product list, your tables, your staff list with scrambled PINs, and the day's orders) and forgets all of it when you revoke the device from your main device. It asks for the camera only to read barcodes when you count or receive stock: the picture becomes the barcode's number on the device and is never stored or sent. It does not use your location, contacts, files or microphone, shows no advertising, and asks for no account with us.
5. Guest data you enter
If you record a guest or a company (a name, a tax number, a phone number), you decide what to record and for how long. Records are archived rather than deleted so that the documents they are attached to stay intact.
6. What this website collects
No cookies, no advertising or analytics tags, no chat widget, no embedded third-party content. If aggregate visit counting is enabled, it is cookieless and holds no personal data or IP addresses.
7. When you write to us
An email you send to the address on this site, or leave in one of its forms, is used to answer you and to send the one email you asked for (a price, or word that your country has opened) and nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list and not passed on. An address left in a form is kept with the page it came from until you ask us to remove it.
8. Billing data
Subscription payments are handled by our payment provider, which collects the billing details necessary to charge you and to issue an invoice. We never see or store your card number.
9. Your rights
Write to the address on this site to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it removed. Because almost everything lives in your building rather than ours, most such requests are answered in one message.
