Getting started
From download to your first sale
Install Brindola on a computer you already have, tell it what kind of venue you run, and ring up a practice sale the same afternoon. Everything else switches on when you need it.
- On the computer you already own
Windows, macOS or Linux. A touch screen and a receipt printer are welcome, never required.
- Fourteen days of Plus, free
Every module and every screen, with no card and no account.
- Selling from the first hour
Orders, payments and receipts work on your own network, with or without the internet.
Your venue
What are you opening?
Pick the closest match to see how venues like yours set up, what to switch on first and which plan fits.

Restaurants
A typical setup
A forty-cover restaurant with two terminals, one kitchen screen and a pass. This is what the software does while the floor does its job.
What you will set up
- A floor plan that matches the room
- Courses, modifiers and shared tables
- A kitchen that sees the ticket once
- Split bills without an argument
- Reports a chef and an owner both read
- A service that never stops for the router
The plan that fits
Plus
Plus. A table-service restaurant runs a floor plan, at least one kitchen screen and more than one terminal, and those are what Plus adds to Essentials. A group running several sites with its own backoffice is Enterprise.

Coffee shops
A typical setup
One counter terminal, a screen behind the espresso machine and a pickup board on the wall. Counter service, no tables to seat.
What you will set up
- A drink in three taps
- A bar screen or a pickup board
- The pastry case, counted
- Fast card, fast cash, tips that add up
- Delivery apps on the same screen
- The rush does not wait for the router
The plan that fits
Essentials
Essentials for one terminal and one counter. It carries the catalog with modifiers, the register, receipts, payments and the close, entirely offline. Add Plus when you want a bar screen, a pickup board or a second terminal, or a second site.

Bars and pubs
A typical setup
A bar with two terminals behind the counter, a screen for the bar, a small kitchen and a terrace. Last orders at one, doors at two.
What you will set up
- Tabs by name, cards held or not
- The bar top is a table
- Age checks that are recorded
- A bar screen, a kitchen screen
- Rounds, splits and the last card of the night
- A night that belongs to one day
The plan that fits
Plus
Plus. Two terminals, a bar screen and a floor plan with the counter drawn on it are Plus features. A single-terminal bar with no screens runs on Essentials, trading day rollover included.

Dark kitchens
A typical setup
One kitchen, three virtual brands, two delivery platforms, a kitchen screen per station and a pass screen by the door.
What you will set up
- Brands as a first-class dimension
- One kitchen screen for Bolt Food and Glovo
- Routing by item, not by brand
- A bag slip per order, the moment it is ready
- Revenue by brand, by platform, by hour
- A line drop that costs nothing already cooking
The plan that fits
Plus
Plus, with the delivery add-on. Several kitchen screens, a pass and the order bridge are the shape of a dark kitchen. An operator running kitchens in several cities on its own backoffice is Enterprise.

Salons and barbers
A typical setup
A salon with four chairs, three stylists and a nail technician, one terminal at reception and a retail shelf.
What you will set up
- A book that knows chairs and people
- From booking to bill in one tap
- Clients you recognise
- The retail shelf, counted
- Tips per stylist, deposits recorded
- The book does not go down with the Wi-Fi
The plan that fits
Plus
Plus. The appointment book, staff roles and full reporting are Plus features. A one-chair barber with no book to keep runs the terminal on Essentials.

Shops and stores
A typical setup
One counter terminal with a scanner and a guest display, a second terminal for Saturdays, a shelf of a few thousand products.
What you will set up
- Scan it, or tap it
- A count that follows the sale
- Packs that deplete singles
- Company invoices from the terminal
- A drawer that reconciles
- The terminal opens whether the line is up or not
The plan that fits
Essentials
Essentials for one counter terminal with the catalog, the scanner, the register and receipts, offline. Plus when you want a second terminal, staff roles and the full reports; Enterprise for a chain on its own backoffice.
Before you start
Four things to have at hand
A computer
A laptop or desktop with Windows, macOS or Linux. It becomes your main terminal, and every other screen pairs with it later.
Your product list
An export from your old system, a spreadsheet or just a printed menu. Prices as your customers pay them, tax included.
Your tax details
Your tax rates and registration number, so the first receipt is already a correct one.
A printer, if you have one
A receipt printer, an office printer or none at all. A receipt can be a PDF or an email.
Six steps
From install to your first real sale
Each step is done once, at your own pace, and the manual walks through every screen on the way.
Install Brindola
Download the installer for Windows, macOS or Linux and run it on the computer that will stand at your counter. That computer becomes your venue's main terminal; kitchen screens, guest displays and more terminals pair with it later.
Answer a few questions
On first launch, guided setup asks for your venue, its currency and taxes, and how you serve (at tables, at the counter or to take away), then creates your own login. Every answer can be changed later.
Bring in your catalog
Type in a few products to get going, or import a spreadsheet. Download the template, match your columns and check the preview before anything is saved. Sizes, extras and options become modifiers. If a backoffice runs your catalog, it arrives from there.
Choose how receipts go out
Print on a thermal receipt printer or an office printer, save a PDF or send it by email. Put your logo and details on it, then print a sample to see it exactly as a guest will.
Rehearse a whole day
Switch to training mode, a copy of your venue where practice sales never reach your reports. Open the register, take an order and a payment, fix a mistake and close the day. Then set up backups and walk through the opening checklist in the manual.
Switch on the rest when you need it
Stock, customers, reservations and pricing rules are a switch away. Plus adds paired terminals, kitchen screens, the floor plan, full reports, cameras and AI assistants. Delivery orders arrive through an add-on that works with any plan.

Questions before you start
Can I bring my products from another system?
Yes. Export them to a spreadsheet, match its columns to ours, and the preview shows every product before it is imported. The catalog comes across, and the other system's sales history stays where it is. You can export your Brindola catalog the same way whenever you want a copy.
Do I have to set everything up at once?
No. Start with the counter and switch on other tools as they become useful. The same venue grows into more terminals, screens and modules without being set up again.
Will practice sales end up in my reports?
No. Training mode runs on a copy of your venue, and anything it prints on a receipt printer is marked as training. Your reports start with your first real sale.
What happens when the fourteen days end?
Choose a plan and carry on with the same venue, catalog and sales, so nothing is set up twice. Without a plan, nothing you recorded is changed or deleted.
Your first sale is an afternoon away
Fourteen days of the full Plus plan, on your own computer, with your own venue and products. No card and no sales call.
